Through the centuries Jaffa was the gate to anyone who wanted to visit the Holy Land. All the hotels that once accommodated pilgrims are long closed and the old port serves nowadays only fishermen. Yet, Jaffa is still a great place to start your trip to Israel, and Old Jaffa Hostel & Guest House is an ideal traveling base. We are located in an old charming building close enough to anything you want in Tel Aviv.

We think that it is the nicest hostel in Tel Aviv because we have put our heart and soul into it . We are not the only ones to think so; read what some of the guidebooks (we are recommended in any single book for Israel) write about us:

Elisha Zelzter in her book "Charming Corner", a best seller in Israel for unique spots writes: "I'm looking for small charming hotels that belong and connect to their surroundings. For those in which guests are accepted personally ...I'm looking for quiet and pleasant modesty and the local charm that one can touch, feel and smell. The only place in Tel Aviv she chose to include in her book is the Old Jaffa Hostel.
